Museums

The above picture is the Tower of London. Built by William the Conquer and occupied ever since, it serves as a Royal residence, houses the Crown Jewels, and museum. For a virtual tour click on the picture.

I find museums, especially those dealing with man made things, fascinating. They provide a link to the past. A window to see how those before us lived. Below are links to several museums, most of which I have visited. Some of them act as a museum as a secondary function like the Tower of London.

The National World War II Memorial will be the first national memorial dedicated to all who served during World War II. The memorial will honor all military veterans of the war, the citizens on the home front, the nation at large, and the high moral purpose and idealism that motivated the nation's call to arms.
